These group activities can be used before or after an Aquarium field trip, or can be used on their own.

World of Water and Other Educational Films

Through vivid and compelling images, WOW (World of Water) Films provide viewers with both an educational and inspirational experience as they learn about ocean conservation issues. Through the Teacher Resource Center, educators have access to hundreds of educational videos and DVDs for loan.

School Programs

Aquarium educators can come to your school to run a variety fun educational programs, some including live animals. We offer classroom programs and assembly and exhibit programs for all of grade levels. Teachers can also download a printable Schooling guide, including professional development, classroom programs, assembly programs and IMAX films.

Teacher Guides

Our teacher guides contain suggestions for instruction and activities around a selected topic. These and other teacher guides are also available in hard copy from our Teacher Resource Center.

 

Kits

Our Teacher Resource Center provides kits of materials for loan to teachers and other educators.

Global climate change is real and it’s happening now. Animals and plants are disappearing from some places and appearing in others. The oceans are a leading indicator of climate change—they are affected by climate change and they in turn affect the climate.
