Teacher Resources

Whether their lessons take place inside our exhibit halls or inside their classroom walls, we have programs to fit any teachers' curriculum and all grade levels. Programs include guidelines for the Massachussetts Curriculum Standards.

The TRC is open Monday through Saturday from September to May and Monday through Friday from June to August. We are frequently off-site with other programs, so please call 617-973-6590 or email trc@neaq.org to make an appointment. Thank you and we look forward to speaking with you!

Teacher Resource Center

Since 1987, our Teacher Resource Center has offered a meeting place, free consultation appointments, research assistance and access to one of the largest curriculum collections in the region and a 6,000-item collection of loan materials.

Professional Development

Our professional development support includes workshops, custom-designed in-service training, field trip preparation and special events and conferences.

Classroom Resources

The Aquarium has a wide range of resources for the classroom, including classroom activities, teacher guides and thousands of items for loan from the Teacher Resource Center, including activity materials, curriculum suggestions, educational films and even live animals.
