Navigator Society members, their families and special invited guests celebrated an evening of adventure at the Aquarium on November 14 in appreciation of their generous financial contributions to support Aquarium operations. The special event also marked the Aquarium’s 40th anniversary.
More than 300 guests attended this year’s event and enjoyed a buffet dinner served around the exhibits. Guests had the chance to explore the Aquarium without the everyday crowds and got up close and personal with inhabitants of our Giant Ocean Tank and the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center. Guests also had a special opportunity to meet Roast Beef, the African penguin. In addition to the activities in the main building, guests were treated to a special IMAX screening of Under the Sea 3D in the Trust Family Auditorium.


A special thank you goes to the Navigator Family Committee members—the Bekenstein, Burgess,
Chisholm, Jones, King, Muggia, Mussafer and Peacher families—for helping us make this event a success! We are grateful for their support of the Aquarium and their pledge to live blue.
