The New England Aquarium celebrated ocean conservation at its annual fundraising event with Aquarium Board members and supporters gathering on the waterfront for an evening of fun. The sold-out event featured a moving talk from special guest speaker Philippe Cousteau Jr., grandson of the legendary Jacques Cousteau, a rousing benefit auction and a late-night after party with a live band on the Aquarium's front plaza. In total, the evening raised more than $360,000 to support the Aquarium's local and global conservation, research and education programs. Special thanks to all who helped make the event a success. The Aquarium is already looking forward to next year's 40th anniversary celebration!
