Friends and supporters of the New England Aquarium celebrated the opening of the newly constructed New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center and the new Harborwalk. The evening included remarks from Chairman of the Board of Trustees R. William Burgess, Aquarium President and CEO Bud Ris, New Balance Vice President of Marketing Chris Quinn and Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino. The event honored the New Balance Foundation for its leadership gift and all the donors who contributed to the innovative new open-air exhibit.
