The Aquarium is nearing the completion of a top-to-bottom, 21st century transformation of the Giant Ocean Tank. Nearly 2,000 animals are being gradually added to the Giant Ocean Tank and most of the penguins that have been moved to an off-site holding facility will be back in their main exhibit by July 1. Penguins on Vacation

Most of the penguins that normally live at the Aquarium have been moved to an off-site holding facility. The smallest penguin species is still on exhibit at the Aquarium. You can visit the little blue penguins in a temporary exhibit out the back doors.
