Giant Ocean Tank

The Aquarium has just completed a renovation that has renewed its main building to the core. The iconic Giant Ocean Tank has undergone a top-to-bottom, 21st-century transformation, including new windows that provide crystal-clear viewing opportunities; a vibrant, revitalized coral reef; and the expansion of exhibit spaces at the top of the tank. The Giant Ocean Tank was already considered one of the most complex and sophisticated aquatic exhibits in the world, but we have doubled the number of fishes in the tank (to more than 1,000) and have added more than 3,000 new corals, to make the exhibit even more breathtaking.
