Intake picture of 07-545-Lk "Waldorf"
11/23/07 Great Island
Intake temp: 48.4 F
This turtle arrived to the New England Aquarium covered in algae and had all the classic symptoms of a cold-stunned sea turtle. Eyes were sunken and the plastron was bruised. The flipper tone was weak and radiographs showed mild pneumonia.
Currently this turtle is eating very well. Still has algae on the carapace and bilateral bruising on the plastron.
