Learn about the world of water alongside your young child. Program topics are listed below.

Sea Squirts classes introduce your child to the wonders of the aquatic world while focusing on their developing motor and language skills and encouraging the development of early science skills such as observation and exploration. Classes run for one hour and include free play, circle time with songs, stories and activities, art projects and games.

Sea Squirt classes are offered in two formats: Toddler is for 2-year-olds, and Preschool is for children ages 3-4 years old. Both programs run in series of four classes each on a variety of topics.

There is a fee of $50.00 for members and $95.00 for non-members for each series of four classes. Adults are included in the cost of each child. Aquarium admission is included in the cost for non-members as classes end in the Aquarium. A $2 service fee will be added to each ticket. Sign up for three or more series at one time (12 classes or more) and receive a $5.00 credit per session.

Classes are held in the Aquarium's Ocean Center, which is across the plaza from the main Aquarium building. Classes will incorporate a visit to the Aquarium or a live animal encounter when appropriate to the topic.
