An Adventure You Shouldn't Miss
"I was fortunate enough to attend the New England Aquarium Summer Camp over the past few years. Each session was exciting, enjoyable, educational, and just plain fun!
My last experience was aboard the Spirit of Massachusetts with the Harbor Discoveries Schooner Adventures. Spending the week on the boat was a true learning experience, one that taught me responsibility, teamwork and independence. I had an awesome time with the crew, counselors and other campers! I learned so much, and took away with me so many things that I couldn't experience anywhere else. The Schooner Adventure is a week that shouldn't be missed!"

"In an age of cell phones, texting, Facebook and video gaming, the Schooner program was a refreshing chance for our daughter to get back to basics. It was face to face with real life adventure, instead of the onscreen variety. Self-reliance, confidence building, and the opportunity to take real responsibility. On top of it all, a really great time that she hasn't stopped talking about. She can't wait to return next summer."

"My son came back from his time out at sea on the Schooner Adventure with many a story to tell—from the mundane aspects of learning how to be a disciplined sailor (which included doing his chores!) to a profound recounting of serving his early morning watch and seeing the sunrise light up a pod of whales! He helped out new friends who were more seasick than he was, learned from the crew, and gained some independence on his first overnight camp experience. As at all of his previous Harbor Discovery camp sessions, my son learned more about marine life and responsible stewardship of the ocean and had a lot of fun, too."
