This Month's Featured Seafood
Hybrid striped bass, U.S. farmed
U.S. farmed hybrid striped bass is well-loved by chefs, who appreciate its mild texture, delicate flavor and incredible adaptability. Hybrid striped bass are a cross between striped bass and white bass, and have an even more delicate taste and texture than wild striped bass. Their light flavor combines well with subtle Asian seasonings, robust roasted vegetables or simple preparations for the grill. Try hybrid striped bass grilled with a red onion marmalade or roasted with a green olive vinaigrette.
Come to the Harbor View Café any Saturday in October and on Friday, October 17, to try U.S. farmed hybrid striped bass with currant glaze and spinach and heirloom tomato salad!
