Our traveling, open house-style programs are great additions to festivals, library events, family days, science nights, and more!

Program components can include live tidepool animals or interactive exhibit stations, and can last between two and five hours. For more information on how to bring one of the below options to your event, please complete the Community Events Inquiry form.

Traveling Tidepool: Learn about your coastal animal neighbors! Guests will be able to observe, touch, discuss, and learn about live local tidepool animals at your event.    

Building our Future: NEW What do you want to see in your city? Neighbors play alongside each other to make changes to our model city and share their ideas for a more livable Boston. Explore how our dream city prepares us for our changing ocean and climate. Participants will walk away with ways to become more climate-ready citizens. 

Engineering and Erosion: NEW Perfect for STEM festivals and fairs this exhibit offers a chance for kids and adults to play and test different interventions to limit the erosion of sand from our sandy coastline models. Created with support from National Grid.

Sustainable Seafood: NEW Perfect for farmers markets and food events. This exhibit allows families to handle and observe some live tidepool animals as well as play games that help link the ocean to your plate.
