Visitors using wheelchairs are welcome at the Aquarium free of charge. Virtually every part of the Aquarium is open to visitors with wheelchairs or strollers.

One exception is the 16 steps to the very top of the Giant Ocean Tank exhibit. The gentle ramp that winds around the Giant Ocean Tank allows all visitors to enjoy four stories of this unique coral reef habitat from the tank's 52 windows and from a variety of other vantage points. Strollers, but not wheelchairs, are also prohibited from the West Wing, currently home to the Amazing Jellies special exhibit.
