Aquarium Animals
Behind the
Snowy Scenes

The Aquarium is empty of visitors, but you'll find dedicated people taking care of the thousands of animals. and the building
Today’s snow may be keeping visitors home—the Aquarium is closed after all. But the building is anything but empty! There are thousands of animals that need to be cared for: fish, seals, sea lions, sea turtles, lobsters, jellies, octopus, stingrays, and so much more. A dedicated group of aquarists, divers, and facilities workers trekked through the storm to make sure the animals and the building are safe. The plaza has to be plowed and the animals have to be fed after all!
