We would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.  

And here at the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center, we have a wonderful mother-daughter group we’d like to share with you! Ursula, our 18-year-old Northern fur seal, is mother to Kitovi, our 3.5-year-old female.

Ursula has also taken Luna, our newest fur seal, under her wing. Luna, a 1.5-year-old, was stranded off the coast of California as a pup and was unable to be released. The three girls spend a lot of time together snoozing on deck or sleeping in the water. Come see all this cuteness firsthand at the marine mammal center!
