Science Under the Sun is pop-up programming that takes place at Boston beaches and engages recreational beachgoers in nature play activities, highlights the local animals and habitats of these urban beaches, and provides opportunities to participate in community science initiatives.  There will be activities and opportunities to meet local animals and explore the habitats at Carson Beach each Friday in July and August beginning July 7. Look for our blue tent near the bathhouse. 

This free program is generously sponsored by the Lowell Institute.    

Carson Beach is accessible via public transportation. Take the MBTA Red Line to JFK/UMass Station and then walk .5 miles north on William J. Day Boulevard to the entrance. From Andrew Station, walk east on Preble Street to the entrance.
Nearby parking is also available.
