Fin & Tonic
An After-Hours Aquarium Event
Thursday, September 5, 2019
Hundreds of people joined us for a special 21+ evening at the Aquarium, where they could explore our exhibits after hours while enjoying a cool beverage from our cash bar (wine, beer, soft drinks, and, of course, our signature Fin & Tonic) and some light snacks. They interacted with Aquarium educators and staff around the Aquarium through hands-on activities and marine mammal training sessions, and learned about volunteer opportunities and our ongoing conservation efforts to protect marine life. Many attendees kept the party going at State Street Provisions with $1 oysters. Thank you for saying “See ya next year” to summer with us!

Fin & Tonic also helps us connect you with some of our favorite partners in ocean conservation. Our friends at the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy have been teaming up with the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life scientists this summer for important research on local sharks. Attendees could learn more about this shark population. and afterward try tastings of Proud Pour’s newest release, Cider for Sea Turtles, in the Harbor View Terrace Tent. After a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, Proud Pour is launching the latest in its line of socially conscience adult beverages. This launch is extra special for us as Proud Pour is donating part of the sales to our sea turtle rescue efforts.
