By the Numbers
- Nearly 30 staff members on the Sustainability Committee, from across almost 20 departments
Recent Successes
- Sustainability Committee Formation. In 2024, staff from across the Aquarium formed a Sustainability Committee. It has guided much of our recent progress and led the creation of our Sustainability Plan.
- AquaTalks. Through biweekly updates and presentations at staff meetings, the Committee keeps staff informed about our sustainability goals and progress.
- This Dashboard. In 2026, we launched this dashboard to help visualize and communicate our progress toward our sustainability goals.
What's Next
- Sustainability From Day One. We’re looking at adding information about our sustainability efforts to new-staff onboarding, so everyone knows our goals and how they can help from their first day.
