WHAT: As Shark Week approaches, the New England Aquarium will be screening shark-themed films on the giant screen of the Simons Theatre for three nights only. From July 24–26, 2025, moviegoers can enjoy cult classics as they’ve never seen them before, on one of the largest movie screens in New England. Tickets are $10 each. Themed concessions will be available for purchase, including specialty cocktails.
WHEN:
- July 24 – Sharknado – A freak storm brings hundreds of vicious, man-eating sharks ashore in Los Angeles, and a group of friends struggle to steer clear of their violent and destructive path. Tickets available here.
- July 25 – The Meg – A deep-sea rescue diver must confront a massive prehistoric shark to save a trapped crew and stop the creature from threatening the ocean. Tickets available here.
- July 26 – Deep Blue Sea – Genetically modified sharks turn on their creators at an underwater research facility, forcing the scientists to fight for survival and prevent the deadly predators from escaping. Tickets available here.
