BOSTON, Mass. (Sept. 9, 2026) — As the New England Area welcomes back college students for the 2026-2027 school year, college students can visit the New England Aquarium for $25 with a valid student ID this month, as part of a new promotion running through Sept. 30. The discounted rate applies to standard Aquarium admission and is available to any currently enrolled college or university student who presents an ID at the box office.

Tickets are available on a walkup basis only at the Aquarium box office and are not sold in advance or online. Students should bring a valid student ID to the box office to receive the $25 rate, which is limited to one discounted admission per ID and may not be combined with other offers or discounts.

The Aquarium offers a variety of presentations and interactive programs daily. Guests can watch animal feedings and learn about penguins, sea lions, harbor seals, and Giant Ocean Tank residents, including long-time resident Myrtle the green sea turtle. Educators also offer up-close experiences with animals including jellies, turtles, and axolotls during animal encounters daily at 10:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.

The Aquarium is located at 1 Central Wharf in Boston and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
