About
Linda received her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University in 2005 and later earned her master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management from Unity University. From 2006 to 2013, she worked as a stranding technician and later as the animal care coordinator for the Virginia Aquarium’s Stranding Response Team. There, she specialized in marine mammal and sea turtle stranding response, on-water research, necropsies, and rehabilitation. In 2013, Linda joined the New England Aquarium’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Department as a Senior Biologist, focusing on marine mammal and sea turtle rescue, rehabilitation, and research. In 2024, she became Manager of the Rescue and Rehabilitation Department, where she now oversees the daily operations of the sea turtle hospital. Her diverse experience in sea turtle rescue, rehabilitation, and research supports the specialized care needed to treat approximately 400 turtles each year, with the ultimate goal of returning these endangered animals to their natural ocean environment.
Linda is passionate about sea turtle conservation and advancing the care and recovery efforts that give these animals the best chance of returning to the wild.
