The 4th International Seadragon Symposium will be hosted by the New England Aquarium from October 21–23, 2025.
This conference provides a unique opportunity for seadragon experts from around the world to discuss, network, and collaborate on advances in seadragon husbandry, research, welfare, acquisition, display, life support, water quality, nutrition, reproduction, health, and management issues.
Registration
Registration is $275 per person and includes continental breakfast and grab and go lunches, drinks, and snacks for all three days as well as an icebreaker event hosted the evening of October 21, 2025 at the New England Aquarium.
Call for Abstracts
The 4th International Seadragon Husbandry Symposium is soliciting abstracts for oral (20-min. total [15 min. talk + 5 min. for questions]) and poster presentations on a variety of topics, including (but not limited to):
- Reproduction & Behavior
- Health & Nutrition
- Research & Conservation
If you are interested in presenting, please carefully review the instructions for presenters and submit your abstract using the Seadragon Husbandry Symposium Abstract Submission Form.
Hotel Information
We have secured a room block at the Harborside Inn Boutique Hotel located about a 3 minute walk from the New England Aquarium. King city view rooms are $399 per night and Atrium view rooms are $369 per night. A room block has been reserved for conference attendees from October 20—25, 2025. The symposium offers opportunities for sponsors to share and display information through tiered giving as well as event sponsorships.
