The New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center will be closed from Monday, April 13, to Friday, April 17, for exhibit maintenance.
The Trust Family Foundation Shark and Ray Touch Tank will open at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, due to routine animal care.

Statement on Monument being recognized in first day of executive actions
BOSTON, MASS. (January 20, 2021) – We celebrate President Biden taking immediate executive action to initiate steps to restore protections to our nation’s natural treasures, including the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument. The New England Aquarium was actively involved in the designation of the Monument in 2016. Our scientists stand ready to work with the incoming administration to continue providing data and observations to inform decision making and protect this special place.
