Library Discount Program
2024-2025 Library Discount Program
Thank you for your interest in the New England Aquarium Library Discount Program. Details regarding the 2024-2025 Full-Year Program are as follows:
- Renewals will open on June 1. Online application and printable PDF form will be available on that day.
- Only public libraries may participate in the program.
- With your payment of $700, your library will receive a book of dated coupons, one coupon per day from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, excluding Thanksgiving (November 28, 2024) and Christmas (December 25, 2024).
- You will also receive a single “Mulligan” coupon, which can be used on any date during the program year. It is provided to enable you to resolve a situation when a coupon reserved by a patron has been misplaced or incorrectly distributed.
- Distribution must be free of charge to library patrons. Libraries may not charge a fee for coupons.
- Each coupon admits up to four people for a reduced admission of 50% off per person. This discount applies to full-price adult and child admission rates. Children under age 3 are not included in the admission count and are always admitted free.
- Coupons to the Aquarium will be valid only on the date printed on the coupon.
- Your library’s patrons may redeem their coupons on-site at the Box Office. Once tickets are issued, library patrons will be admitted to the Aquarium even if we are sold out to the general public at that time.
- We always recommend coupon holders visit neaq.org/visit before leaving home to confirm Aquarium hours and availability of daily programs.
- Library coupons may not be used in conjunction with school or group visits, nor be applied toward Aquarium programs, Simons Theatre tickets, or combination tickets.
- Library coupons or tickets obtained with library coupons may not be resold.
- Participation in the New England Aquarium Library Discount Program does not constitute a membership nor entitle the library’s staff or patrons to the benefits reserved for Aquarium members.
- Each participating library receives the New England Aquarium’s quarterly magazine, blue.
- Payment must be received no later than July 31, 2024, for delivery of a physical coupon book by September 1, 2024. If we do not receive payment by this time, your library will be automatically enrolled for a digital passbook.
- We no longer accept advance reservations for Library Pass holders. Patrons with Library Passes will visit the Ticket Booth on the day of their visit to pick up or purchase their tickets. Patrons will be admitted to the Aquarium immediately after their transaction is complete, regardless of if we are sold out to the general public during that time slot.
